Fuse Dance Collective will be dancing some of our popular signature dances to get everyone feeling good, plus performing two brand new dance pieces created with their trainee choreographers:

"Switching" — choreographed by David Ainsworth, this powerful piece explores the ever-changing nature of Parkinson's symptoms, shining a light on the contrast between 'on' and 'off' periods - when medication is working, and when it isn't. Each day we set off armed with our pill dispensers, hoping for the best — sometimes stalled by life's indignities, sometimes waltzing the night away on a medicated wave.

"Our Grand Day Out" — inspired by Patrick Johnson's love of journeys from Leeds to the seaside, this joyful piece takes you on a trip through cherished memories of traditional seaside holidays. From the beauty of sand and sea, to the excitement of the journey, the thrill of the promenade, a brave dip in the cold sea, and the fun of the beach, we even throw in a tribute to Laurel & Hardy and a cheeky flirtation with the Charleston! 🎩
